Sergeant First Class Michael W. Rogan volunteers at our Clarks Summit, PA agency and is a retired Army Medic. Michael practiced nursing as an RN for 35 years.
“Michael W. Rogan, a Veteran Volunteer at Aseracare, began volunteering in 2003 after he was diagnosed with a second brain tumor that would cause him to give up his career as a nurse. After serving 22 years as an Army Medic, Michael continues his incredible commitment to terminally ill veteran patients. Michael has performed over 200 pinning’s to veterans, as well as over 100 Memorial Services. Dressed in full Military Attire, Michael presents the We Honor Veterans Award to each veteran patient. Michael shares his triumph and recovery as a presence to those in need. Michael’s connection with each patient resembles his honesty and courage. He puts his whole heart and soul into helping our patients with special attention to our Veterans.”
