advocacyAfter adopting the butterfly as a symbol of hope and transition, AseraCare began hosting annual special memorial events beginning in 2013 as a way to recognize the lives of loved ones lost and help families through their grieving process. These events are open to the community at large and often include local, state and national leaders.
Butterfly to RememberIn recognition of the unique challenges facing veterans at the end of life, we have partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization to serve this esteemed demographic. Our commitment has been realized through all AseraCare agencies achieving level four status (currently highest-level status).
We Honor VeteransWhen you call us, day or night, you speak to a registered nurse ready to assist. With an average response time of 18 seconds, this RN team is committed to providing skillful and timely instructions to those we care for as well as their loved ones and professional caregivers.
Call a registered nurseWith an ever-increasing percentage of the population suffering with dementia-related diseases, we are committed to participate in ongoing training and education for our interdisciplinary team of caregivers as well as our healthcare partners. Using evidence-based dementia simulation training, we are prepared to provide enhanced solutions to address this ongoing healthcare challenge.
Dementia CareEach person we care for is encouraged to define what quality of life looks like. We complement robust pain and symptom management with a deliberate plan to meet and exceed expectations according to individually defined quality of life goals.
Gift of LifeThis represents our commitment to ensure that everyone we serve has a remarkable hospice experience. We deliver an in-person visit every day for the first seven days to those under our care by one of our interdisciplinary team members. Additionally, as end of life approaches, we anticipate decline and deliver a similar in-person level of care for comfort, dignity, and family support.
