We stand for quality of life. We help our patients and their families have peace of mind by providing unparalleled care. We help ease the pain, we support, we listen, we nourish, we educate, and we advocate for better living. These efforts are supported by our Power of One Program, an internal process developed to establish expectations for each patient’s hospice journey.
The first week of a patient’s hospice experience is built on the premise that people with life limiting illness often do not know what to expect from hospice. After receiving the news of a terminal diagnosis a family may feel lost. It takes time to absorb this new information and to get comfortable with a new team coming to care for them. For our team, this provides an opportunity to get to know each family and establish a customized plan of care.
